I can’t remember the sequence of online clicks that landed me at this article entitled The 5 Best Toys of All Time. Suffice it to say that I enjoyed it enough that I read it through twice and knew I had to share it with you, too. If nothing else, it explains why I always have a hard time coming up with gift ideas when the grandparents ask: the simplest objects make the best playthings because they can be whatever the kids want them to be. And when they get lost or broken, well, there are always more sticks to gather or another roll of toilet paper to empty.
